Ryan began his financial career as a junior at an accountancy practice, where he honed his foundational skills and developed a keen understanding of accounts and tax reporting. As a Chartered Certified Accountant with an ACCA qualification, Ryan has demonstrated exceptional competence in financial management and external reporting.
After qualifying, Ryan progressed to roles such as Audit and Accounts Manager at the same SME practice, where he spent six years working with a diverse range of clients, from sole traders to large multinational companies. During this time, he led various financial planning projects, including tax, pension, and expansion planning.
Ryan joined Equals Money as a Financial Reporting Accountant and now serves as Head of External Reporting. In this role, he plays a crucial part in accurate IFRS financial reporting, ensuring compliance with external reporting requirements, and conducting in-depth corporation tax planning.
